Resources

Through my grief and trials of life I’ve found some very good resources that have helped in different ways. Sharing those with you here!

Books on Loss and Grief

The One Year Book of Hope by Nancy Guthrie
This is my number one go to book. It has helped me so much to discover the truth about God in the midst of loss and grief. Sometimes we just need reminders to help us fight the lies Satan tries to tell us when we are sad and this book was a huge help. Nancy Guthrie is an amazing woman who has experienced unfathomable loss.

Holding on to Hope by Nancy Guthrie
This is another book by Nancy Guthrie which works through the story of Job while telling about the loss of her own children, Hope and Gabriel. I find it encouraging to read the stories of other women who have experienced loss because it helps to both validate some of the feelings you have but also points to hope that others have found in God’s word and promises.

Inconceivable Redemption: God’s Presence in Miscarriage and Infertility by Erin Greneaux

Music

Music is my way of getting my mind right and focusing on the goodness of God. It is therapeutic for me!
